Experience
- Own the full accounts payable cycle for ASI and USU — 50–100+ vendor invoices weekly, up to 200 at peak — across intake, GL coding, verification and journal entry.
- Perform monthly and ad-hoc internal audits across both entities, catching discrepancies before they reach the financial statements.
- Support the 2025–26 external year-end audit with account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Run SQL-driven budget analysis for annual budget creation; redesigned office workflows for +50% efficiency, adopted team-wide.
- Engineered the two production Python tools described below.
- Own the full financial lifecycle of a 100+ member organisation: a $5,000+ operating budget plus external grant funding.
- Analyse financial data to optimise fund distribution, and improve tracking, reporting and allocation.
- Built interactive Power BI dashboards with DAX and custom data models, turning raw performance data into executive-ready KPI visualisations.
- Built ETL pipelines in Microsoft Fabric; ran SWOT and cost-benefit analyses and co-delivered pitches to Microsoft representatives.

What I've shipped
Snehin Check Request Helper
A Python desktop tool that reads vendor invoice PDFs and enters them into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Built with pdfplumber, PyMuPDF and pyautogui, with no API integration, because none was available.
Parses the invoice PDF and extracts vendor, amount and GL fields.
Validates against the expected structure and flags mismatches.
Drives Business Central directly to enter the record. 3–5 minutes becomes under 10 seconds.
BC Journal Entry Bot
Reads DocuSign PDFs and CashNet Excel files and posts structured journal entries. Built with pdfplumber, openpyxl and CustomTkinter, with real-time balance validation.
Extracts entries from two unrelated source formats.
Structures debits and credits and normalises object codes.
Validates that the entry balances before it posts. Up to 95% less manual entry.
Month-end close agent
An AI agent supporting month-end reporting and bank reconciliations: matching transactions, surfacing exceptions for a human to judge, and assembling the supporting documentation a reconciliation needs. Currently being built and evaluated against real closes.
